We tried for 100 signatures, but now it's almost 2000! The pergola is our 'secret garden' and feel that it gives the café a special atmosphere. I hope we can find a way to keep it, as so many of you in the community have told us you love it. You are amazing – We love you all!😍

@SEninemag Thanks for raising. To be clear, this is a planning department view but not mine or @CllrLindaBird - this is a fantastic local business who have, like others, had to adapt during a pandemic. We will be raising with officers.

I doubt there’s been a single complaint about this structure. This is box ticking of the worst kind. The size of the pavement means no one is inconvenienced by this pergola so let’s apply some common sense @Royal_Greenwich @DanLThorpe @CllrLindaBird

We stopped off today to the #WestMountCafe on the way home from high street. What cosy place. I’d say the coffee is the best to be had in all of Eltham.
