I'm excited to announce the creation of the Violent Extremism Lab, which I'll be leading at University of Oxford's Centre for the Study of Social Cohesion (CSSC). Founded and directed by Professor Harvey Whitehouse, the CSSC is dedicated to researching forms of group cohesion and the evolution of social complexity with the purpose of finding solutions to urgent challenges such as global conflict, forms of extreme violence and the climate crisis. Other brilliant lab groups include @martha_newson's Changing Lives Lab Group, @C_Kavanagh's Ritual, Cohesion and Charisma Lab and @Lukas314159's Global Cohesion Lab.

I landed in London at 8AM today and somehow managed to make it on time to the GNET conference by 10:30AM.
