@sloppyjanemusic @Lillielalamusic Second this, also if you can do it, hotel credit card...gives you extra points for gas/food/flights sometimes, and using the card for rooms. the points add up quick.

@Lillielalamusic not a total game changer but does help to pick 1 hotel chain and get on their rewards points system if you dont do that already
