Ahmed Al-Qassas, a 31-year-old married father of four young children, aged 8, 7, 5, and 2, lives in a rented tent in Gaza with eight family members, paying $200 each month for the space. Displaced eight times since the genocide began, their home was destroyed, and Ahmed suffered a head injury during a bombing while sheltering in a school where many others were martyred. The family faces ongoing hardships, including limited access to food, clean water, medications, blankets, and warm clothing, while his youngest child struggles with malnutrition, needs diapers and milk, and has developed a facial rash due to inadequate hygiene and medical care. With winter approaching, Ahmed is seeking help to provide his children with food and warmth, as well as waterproof covers for the tent to shield them from rain and mud. As the sole provider, he is doing everything possible to keep his family safe and hopes for support to meet these basic needs.
