@OTFAnonymous @localmanweather @WhelenEng @ReedTimmerUSA I designed a special converter that takes the line output from the mixer and converts it to a format that is acceptable and safe for the speaker itself. I after analyzing the DVM messages this audio is being passed with the same safeguards and formatting as the original DVM.

@localmanweather @WhelenEng @WillClay25 @ReedTimmerUSA This is also very bad for the Drivers it's self. Replacement Drivers from the Whelen Factory is going to cost some change, but I wouldn't recommend doing this a lot that the drivers weren't designed to playing anything but Square Wave Sounds.

Real guitar amps just don’t do it for me anymore, we use @WhelenEng Vortex tornado sirens instead

@oilmutt @EdgarONealWX @sam34gtr @ReedTimmerUSA @localmanweather The sensor does transmit lora every 1 second. But the sensor records at 4hz. So we are after that higher resolution data that’s stored locally on flash.

The next generation of tornado sensors is ready for action! We’re aiming to launch this sensor into a tornado this weekend. V1.1 is already underway with upgrades to push the design even further. This is just the beginning of a fast-evolving system of sensors, networking, and software.

This is the tornado that we first attempted a rocket launch in Dominator 3. It was wildly loud!!!
