"A total of over 30 tactical battalion groups are on constant alert almost 250 kilometers from the Ukrainian border on Russian soil." "Additional troops could be called back for an attack within a few days."

The Ukrainian ambassador in Berlin Andrij Melnyk: "The Russians have around 114,000 soldiers off the eastern border of Ukraine and in the occupied Donbass. Around 32,000 troops are stationed in the occupied Crimea, including several thousand in Belarus."

@EndGameWW3 Russia won't move on Ukraine until Spring. China will strike Taiwan and Russia will strike Ukraine simultaniously, splitting the U.S. response and leaving an impotent NATO to respond. And Europe isn't going to war against Russia over Ukraine.

The U.S./West wants Putin to react and he will. This TB2 strike made him look like a pussy. Putin doesn't like looking like pushover. He is going to react and strongly.

Some people think the U.S. won't do anything if Putin moves in on Ukraine for that TB2 strike. I disagree, the U.S. wouldn't have green lighted this Ukrainian TB2 strike if we didn't have a plan. The U.S. fully knew well this would set Putin off.

On this day in 1917, U.S. Army soldiers James Gresham, Thomas Enright and Merle Hay die in fighting on the Western Front near Artois, France. They are the first of 53,000 American servicemen to be killed in action during the First World War.

@EndGameWW3 It’s a sound strategy by China. Make these incursions seem regular and lull them into a false sense of security thinking it's nothing new until one day these ADIZ violations will be the real deal.

Update: China has called for an urgent meeting of the permanent members of the UNSC. Beijing has said that it needs to hold a discussion on a number of 'international issues'.

My favorite question I get from Japanese licensors sometimes: Where did you get these screenshots? From your movie, the one you sent me!!

@KithKanan @BradyHartel I do not recall. Like us, the Art Dept. was told to go all out on the absolute zany things for the show's release.

@BradyHartel @WitchKing Unrelated except Excel Saga, but do either of you happen to know who deserves the credit/blame for the "Now Serving Menchiloaf" poster that's been hiding in plain sight on a closet door in my kitchen for what must be coming up on a couple decades now?

@CrusherJones @BradyHartel Yeah, it was a pretty cool place. We only visited a few times ourselves, as we both worked remotely out of state. Money was decent, I think I was making about 38K a year when I got laid off. But the way things were going internally, the move was just too risky for me.

@BradyHartel Oh, absolutely. That was certainly a right place, right time deal. Between Wikis and Social Media, marketing a series has gotten so much easier. Long way from MySpace character pages and guerilla marketing on message boards, news site submissions and 4chan img boards.

@WitchKing Thaaaat too. Think about how novel our job was though. We would make crazy websites baked with tons of information about shows. Nowadays all that is on Wikipedia and the promotion is on twitter and youtube. Sites dedicated to a show or whatever are few and far between.

@BradyHartel Yeah, I remember that. I also recall they gave us an ultimatum in the end in June '04. Either move to Houston on our own dime as they move all operations in house or we're laying you off. Good decision not to, given what happened afterwards.

@WitchKing They wanted me to move there, actually, but they didn't want to pay for relocation and Ken was like, screw that, and wanted to keep me as a designer. It's good that I didn't since they started having money problems soon after that.
