Supporting a great cause at the Craft Fayre Thank you Jackie Cosgrove for inviting me to the craft fayre raising funds for the cancer unit at New Cross Hospital. This inspiring initiative brings the community together in support of such an important cause.

I was delighted to present prizes and to thank all the children who took part, their creativity and effort were truly inspiring. Well done to everyone involved, and here’s to many more years of making Wednesfield bloom!

Great to attend the Wednesfield In Bloom prize presentation on Saturday, celebrating the 10th Anniversary Poster Competition. Wednesfield in Bloom is a fantastic voluntary organisation that has proudly represented the area in the Heart of England in Bloom competition.

It was a pleasure to attend the opening of Shin’s Indian Takeaway over the weekend. Thank you for the warm invitation, it was touching to hear that the restaurant is named in honour of a much-loved family member, which adds a personal meaning to this new addition to our community

It was inspiring to see the focus on personalised learning, re-engagement, recognised qualifications, and positive progression for young people who have struggled in mainstream settings, including those with SEND and SEMH needs. Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome.

This afternoon I had a lovely visit to the School of Coding Alternative Education Provision Open Day for secondary students in Years 9–11, supporting inclusion placements across Wolverhampton and neighbouring cities.

It’s so nice to see music being brought directly into community settings, helping to bring back precious memories and create joyful, meaningful moments for people living with dementia and their loved ones. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making today so special and fun!

I had a wonderful time today at the Dementia-Friendly Memory Café at the @WolvesGrand, joined by the amazing @bluebirdbelles The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of smiles, laughter, music and I even had a boogie too!

I truly enjoyed meeting everyone, seeing the amazing work happening in the school, and being part of a day that brings the whole community together.

A huge thank you to Stowlawn Primary School for inviting me to your wonderful Community Day! It was such a pleasure to be part of such a warm, welcoming, and vibrant event.

Special thanks to Sam Williamson for 40 days of litter picking, an inspiring effort raising funds and awareness. A fantastic contribution making a real difference across the city.

It was a pleasure to attend the Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre event. Thank you all for the warm hospitality. As you approach your 40th anniversary, I wish you every success in your fundraising and continued vital work supporting the Wolverhampton community.

I had the opportunity to hear from six projects delivering meaningful outcomes such as bringing communities together, improving cohesion, tackling harmful narratives and misinformation, supporting resilience, strengthening connections, and promoting unity across our city.

It was a real privilege to attend the Community Cohesion and Resilience Project Showcase in the City Suite.

A great start to the morning at Genting Casino Wolverhampton for the BNI Big Breakfast. Thank you for the invitation and for providing such valuable insight into BNI and the important role it plays in connecting and supporting local businesses across the Black Country.

Great to visit J.J. Karate Academy and see students of all ages coming together to develop their skills. From kicking, punching and combinations to kata and teamwork, it was fantastic to see the dedication, discipline and confidence being built.
