Todd Blanche has been an invaluable partner in advancing President Trump’s agenda and as a result of his leadership at the Department of Justice, Americans are safer today. The Senate should not leave for recess without confirming him as Attorney General.

They lied about the whole thing and now admit the contractor screwed up the Reflecting Pool installation. And because they were in a rush to indict to please Trump, they presented false evidence to a grand jury. meidasnews.com/news/doj-seeks…

I finally have all 1.2 million raw image files from my latest mission to ISS! Here is a sample of one of my favorite Milky Way photos, taken from the Cupola with Nikon Z9, Arri Zeiss 15mm lens, T1.8 with custom sidereal drive that cancelled out star motion relative to our orbit.

This is the most INSANE bear situation I’ve ever seen in TN. I’ve had a bear steal my chainsaw & make national news, I’ve seen bears get locked in cars, I’ve seen them rip off the jeep tops…but I’ve NEVER seen one actually break the glass to get in. This was sent to me by my property mgr from a cabin in Gatlinburg. Guest left their @BurgerKing bag in the car. That bear wanted that burger some kinda bad. It got it…but the guest lost a window and door in the process! The funniest thing is he seems to be casing the place after he breaks it open, looking both ways to make sure no one is coming.

🦔Turn your sound on for this one. This is what it sounds like to live next to an AI data center, 24 hours a day. In Dowagiac, Michigan, residents sued after a facility run by Hyperscale Data ran around the clock at 78 decibels outside their homes. The company offered to buy their houses rather than fix the noise. One family has lived on that street for nearly a century. My Take This isn't one town with one bad facility. Microsoft faces a class-action in Wisconsin over data center noise residents can hear a mile and a half from the property line. In Virginia, one-third of data centers sit within 200 feet of homes. Noise from thousands of servers can hit 96 decibels, and diesel backup generators reach 105, which is a jet overhead. Residents report headaches, nausea, and sleep problems. Property values near this kind of infrastructure drop up to 20%. The company response in Michigan was to offer to buy the homes rather than quiet the facility, homes that families spent decades in, priced against a corporate buyout. Water in Oregon, wells in Georgia, ratepayer costs in Louisiana, river water in California, and now noise in Michigan and Wisconsin. None of this was in the brochure when these projects got approved. Closed-loop cooling and proper sound barriers exist and would solve most of this, but they cost more, so the companies skip them and the neighbors lose sleep and equity instead. Hedgie🤗

The Bureau of Land Management just approved an AI data center on public land. Never been done before. Not through a real environmental review either. They dug up an old solar farm's approval from 2023 and decided it counted for a completely different project. No new review. No public comment period. No public say at all. The site sits on desert tortoise habitat outside Boulder City, Nevada, three miles from residents' homes. The company behind it is Skylar Capital Management, a Texas hedge fund. Its water will come from the Colorado River Basin. The same river that gives nearly 40 million people across seven states their drinking water. The same river where farmers and ranchers use almost 80 percent of the supply, and it's already so short that farmers this year left fields unplanted and ranchers are shrinking their cattle herds just to survive the season. The same river so overdrawn that seven states have spent months failing to agree on how to split what's left, and this week, the federal government takes that decision out of their hands entirely. The same river where Navajo, Hopi, and Paiute nations have waited 118 years for water they were legally promised back in 1908, while states actively fight to block them from getting it. Now a hedge fund wants a straw in that river too, for a server farm. Who decided an AI data farm needs water more than the 40 million people who depend on the Colorado River? 💧 #DemsUnited
