Sitting on the porch, looking out at the Snowbird Mountains, I realized there are no geniuses. Some people just have more time to daydream.

Soon as we have a new rain, the Ducktown-Turtletown Road is going to be covered with wet leaves and superslick. Be careful, everybody. You don't want to skid off the side of this track.

They finally got a mike small enough to measure the sound of a cockroach walking. As I expected, it is "tika-tika-tika."

@freitasm @jevvv @vodafoneNZ She looks a bit like the woman on the cover of Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home (wife of Albert (?) Grossman (?), Dylan's manager at the time.

@aparnapkin If I had posted all the tweets you tweeted on Mar. 15, I would be worried that I had written myself out. (I told a comedian friend of mine around 1990 that I thought I'd written myself out, and he laughed out loud.)

@aparnapkin I am telling everyone I meet or know to follow @aparnapkin, for a bit of cheering up and fantastic humor during these trying times brought to us by M. or Mme. Corona.

I've been sitting here feeling sorry for myself, courtesy of M. Corona. But I thought of Flannery O'Connor, desperately ill with Lupus in 1967, only able to write an hour each day. She finished the magnificent story "Parker's Back" two days before she died. #FlanneryO'Connor

Here's the Trump tweet I'm waiting for (it's only a matter of time): "Truth— Overrated, no value! Dead!"

I've been finding Trump supporters perplexing. Then I realized they're the same people who think pro wrestling is real sport.

The hummingbirds are back. I saw the beavers, and an owl. And an albino skunk (or so it appeared) in the twilight. A magical time of year.

Everyone's obsessed with content consumers. Who cares about content CREATORS? Anyone besides the parasites (Google and Amazon) who effectively and effortlessly steal our property?

I found a little bird just sitting in the middle of U.S. 64. Amazing no one ran over it. Carried it to a thick bush, it flew right in. My good wishes flew right in after it. Take care, little one.

@precociouspenny They must take after my old cat, Callie. Of course, she's nearing 21 years of age (not cat years!) and has borne litters beyond count, so she has the right to put her face on her paws and sleep.

Sitting lost at a traffic light, I gave money to a homeless guy. "Thanks," he said. Then I said, "Can you tell me how to get to Duke Street?" He did, and I said, "Thanks." His face broke into a smile. I wondered how long it had been since someone had thanked him for anything.
