@jonnorris12 @simongarrard2 @trent1316 If you want big eels try Nash Lakes in Royston just up the Rd from Shepreth pit. I saw a guy catching them all day long on Roach heads up to 6lb

@simongarrard2 @trent1316 Did you ever fish Shepreth pit just north of Royston? Was an old chalk pit that held huge eels.

Tbt to 9 years ago and a some exceptional eel fishing on a deep gin clear old brick pit caught numerous 4s and a handful of 5 to 5lb 14 before the bites dried up,all fish caught on small roach heads or whole sprat this brace went 5lb 9oz and 4lb 2oz,due another season soon

So, we had two utterly gorgeous Rag Doll cats arrive yesterday and they are amazing. I’ve always been a dog person but I fell head over heals for these two yesterday. The only trouble is my 3 and 6 year olds are, shall we say ‘very enthusiastic’ The cats are terrified of them!
