The U.S. Senate has unanimously voted to fund most of the Department of Homeland Security. This includes TSA, FEMA and the Coast Guard. Funding for ICE and CBP is not included. The bill now goes to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Getting ready for my daughter’s fourth birthday party and the realization that this little girl is BEYOND spoiled just hit me. I was so scared when her father and I split. I wasn’t sure what her childhood would be like with a one parent household but it’s been 4 years & we are killing it! She has her passport, is well traveled, has everything she has ever asked me for, is ahead of all the kids in her class with reading and writing and comprehension. All of this while also taking care of my mom, dad, brother, sister & niece financially when needed. I am honestly so proud of myself 🥹
