In response to Qs from #LibDemConf audience @LeonKazakosKC supports more and better education on justice in schools and says the media have a role to play in public education too. He plugs the excellent work of @YoungCitizensUK in educating young people.

We’re in Brighton for the first of our party conference fringe discussions with @TheLawSociety & @APPGJustice at @LibDemConf - for the Bar, @LeonKazakosKC sets out the consequences of the cuts to justice funding. 10% of cases delayed for 2 years. Legal aid funding cuts impact access to justice. Justice not seen by successive governments as important.

It is inspiring to see that the vast majority of communities have come together peacefully in response to the Southport attack and the extremist thuggery that followed. It proves that, together, we can practise #HopeNotHate. (7/7)
