@carla_denyer As most countries have a minimum standard of language for that country to gain citizenship then the UK should be the same. Written, spoken and reading of the language should be within a set timeframe for people who want to settle in that country. This is normal in most countries.

2) This govt is actively making things worse - making it harder for people to come and work as carers when our caring sector is already stretched to breaking point. Instead we should improve pay and conditions for carers and make carer visas more flexible to reduce exploitation.

@Jenny_1884 The pension system was sexist against men for decades. Why should men have to work longer than women in what is an equal world, women wanted equal rights but ended up with privileges that were sexist against men.

It makes me so angry that our government stopped us ladies getting our pension at 60yrs & we now have to wait until we are 67yrs because they couldn’t afford it, yet can find BILLIONS to pay for illegals who have not paid a penny into our system. How is that right & fair 🤔
