Just a reminder that Connor and Hudson's first Zoom chemistry read covered two scenes: 1) Tampa Hotel Room (Episode 5) 2) Vegas Bathroom (Episode 2) Yeah, we're not surviving its release lmao

Hudson Williams Updates@hudsonwupdates

Quinn ‘Ember & Ice’ intimacy coordinator Jamie Monahan on Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie’s professional approach to recording intimacy (via Rational Romantics Podcast) CASS: “It seems like it would be such a fascinating development, especially when they have an existing, like Hudson and Connor have this existing relationship, existing rapport, to get to kind of tap into that. Seems like it would be a very incredible experience to have everything coordinated and set. But also, I mean, they're very clearly, very comfortable with each other. So that would help, I would think.” JAMIE: “I think what was beautiful that I picked up on very quickly was the language that they used in terms of intimacy and the questions that they asked. I could tell that they had worked with a really great intimacy coordinator. And Chala Hunter was the intimacy coordinator on Heated Rivalry and the language around intimacy, how we use intimacy to further plot development, character development, and what's happening in the story is something so powerful.” “And I think once actors understand that intimacy can be such a massive tool in terms of creativity, it's very freeing. And they both approached the work that way. And I could tell it was because they had worked with an intimacy coordinator before.” “So it was very easy because it was jumping into a shorthand with someone who already had that kind of experience, and we could go from there. So, yes, it was definitely very helpful that they had experiences together, but also having had worked with an intimacy coordinator before made it very easy for me not to have to go into the whole spiel of, ‘This is how we work together, this is what I do, this is why I'm here’, you know. We're already on the same page for everything, which was really nice.” 🔗 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/rat…
