Two minutes of process, one logo for the New Jersey Resistance heading into the Jersey City XM Anomaly on May 30th. Music in the video by Bobby Long, a Jersey City-based singer-songwriter. Check him out at buff.ly/mazalbV

We made a timelapse of the Jersey City Anomaly logo. 🔵 The illustration is based on Jersey Central Lines locomotive No. 2001, a rare Baldwin "Baby Face" diesel that ran commuter service out of Jersey City in the late 1940s. None of these engines survive today.

An old-style serif wordmark carries the same authority, with the tagline set in widely spaced lowercase beneath a pair of rules. The full suite covers chrome rendering on dark stone, flat black on white, white on black, and white on the textured dark field.

The section mark. A symbol pulled straight from the contracts they work with. We designed the logo for Exsequor, a subcontractor solutions firm providing strategy, infrastructure, safety, and project administration services to construction subcontractors.

The side panels carry engraving-style illustrations of coffee farmers layered over warm grain textures and basket-pattern circles. The counter carries "Ikawa Y'u Rwanda" on one side and "Coffee from the Thousand Hills" on the other, both set large against an orange ground.

"Ikawa Y'u Rwanda." Coffee from the Thousand Hills. We designed the trade show booth for Rwanda's National Agricultural Export Development Board at the Specialty Coffee Association of America conference, coordinated through the Embassy of Rwanda in Washington, D.C.

The brand standards document covers vertical and horizontal lockups, primary usage on a deep teal gradient, solid secondary versions for signage, and a full typography system built on Roboto with salmon reserved for subheadings.
