@mechiki_ It says '100k Grand Prize', not '100k Prize Pool'. So it should mean 1st place takes the 100k, with the rest to follow. We'll have to wait for more details as we also don't know where the other stops are and how to qualify.

Really excited for the prospect of a GBVS World Tour! I will certainly save the date for the next Cygames Cup and make sure I'm in attendance live! A prize pool that is DOUBLE the prize of this year's AWT should be really enticing!

My AWT work now comes to a close. What an amazing year of GBVSR! I'm grateful for being able to experience new communities this year and hope to make a return. The announcement of a GBVS Tour gives me a renewed excitement and hope for the future. Congrats to Zangief Dreams!

The new mechanic announcement is something to keep an eye on. If you remember in Vanilla prior to Rising they tested the overdrive mechanic. They also released new characters outside of the season pass. Games wants to expand genres. Perhaps a 3rd GBVS entry as well?
