If what Bolojan says bothers you, that’s a good sign. He’s speaking the truth, and the truth is that Romania is not in a strong position. It would have been wrong not to feel concerned.

I’ve been listening to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on B1 for the past half hour. He is coherent, diligent, and realistic, answering all questions directly without populism or political posturing. I can’t recall another PM who has explained government actions so frequently and in such detail. He also mentioned having a good relationship with President Nicușor Dan, beyond the usual executive-presidential dynamic. They meet regularly, discuss common issues, and coordinate their agendas. — Romanian activist Dana Hering
