Earlier today I was telling a broker that we have $100M to deploy, buy strip centers all-cash, etc. He was polite, but bored. His colleague then turned to him and told him I was behind the “StripMallGuy” account. His eyes lit up. “I have to find you deals!!” Serious question: It would be socially awkward to mention the account during meetings - but it changes the entire dynamic of the conversation.
