@Oyakata77 Monk is a phenomenal class! I love the mobility it has. I played one with the kensei subclass a few months ago that threw daggers to great effect!

@akiyamakanzen Sometimes the dice are very kind! The odds were very much against us. Our DM also drew the foe we fought. I will ask him if he still has the image so that I can share it with you.

@akiyamakanzen What was originally a very dire moment that had everyone at the table feeling fearful instead turned into cheering. Everyone was so excited at the unlikely odds of us surviving, and it's been a story we have shared for years.

@akiyamakanzen We said that we would fight him one at a time, on the condition that he did not land a killing blow on anyone until everyone fell. My Paladin was the first to fight, empowered by the party's blessings. The dice were very fortunate, and I dealt critical damage alongside smiting.

@akiyamakanzen This server to anger our foe, who immediately tried to strike down my PC. He in turn landed a deadly blow, but not enough to knock my PC out. Instead, they used their Paladin feature to rebuke damage, forcing the Nurzagon to crumble under holy force!

@saitom11 The way our table handles it is that we declare our actions, then roleplay the scene as per the results of those actions. For example: "I take the Attack action to attack the goblin. I rolled a 16. A hit? Okay." "Jorge raises his great axe high and swings bravely at his foe!"

If I had to pick my favorite classes in D&D, it would probably be the Paladin and the Rogue. Paladins have a built-in reason to adventure. They're a champion of their god, the people, and justice - the purest reasons to adventure. On the other hand, Rogues are playfully selfish.

@pika_kai9798 A Paladin/Bard multiclassed Drow of Eilistraee. Her name was Trissae and she specialized in an acrobatic fighting style that made her very graceful and mobile.
