OP shared a story about how she got into sangwon's dad's taxi on the way home from gimpo airport!! 😭🥹
"Oh my god, i took a taxi home from gimpo airport and happened to get into Lee Sangwon's father's taxi 😂😂😂. While putting my luggage in before getting in, I could vaguely tell that the uncle (sangwon's dad) must have been a handsome guy when he was young. I was truly stunned.
Since the ride was quite long, he kept trying to chat with us. He asked if we liked BTS, but since we were exhausted after finishing a few days of filming, we didn't really want to talk much. We jokingly said we weren't interested 😂. Then, he very proudly said that his son is also an idol and debuted in ALD1.
I casually asked: 'Is that the group with lee sangwon?'
He replied: 'Yes'
I asked: 'Which one is your son?'
He said: 'Sangwon-ie is my son'
Us: '!!!???'
I finally opened my eyes wide and looked at him again, they look exactly the same 😂! At first i thought he might be joking, so i searched on XHS (Xiaohongshu), and it turned out sangwon's father really is a taxi driver. At that point, I totally believed it. We told him that Lee Sangwon is incredibly handsome. Seeing how surprised we were, he looked so happy and extremely, extremely proud hahahaha. We gave him full 'emotional value' by praising Sangwon non-stop.
Then while chatting, he found out i'm an ENGENE... he brought up the friendship of the 'Big Hit trainee' kids again 😭. He said Heeseung used to go to their house to play all the time... Heeseung went there the most. He even showed me a photo of Heeseung and Sangwon from their Hanlim High School graduation.
Oh, and at the start when we were just making small talk, he told us his son is friends with Woochan. We were already wondering then, 'wait is his son an idol?' and finally, the mystery was solved!
As we got close to our destination, we said Sangwon is really handsome and that we'll support him from now on~ he thanked us. You can really tell how proud he is of Sangwon. His phone is full of Sangwon's photos. Sangwon has worked so hard 😭. If I had such an amazing son, i'd cover my car in posters and stick photocards on the license plate, but his dad is so humble about it, only mentioning it casually. What a dramatic trip, even the ride home was so full of drama..."
