The first of many meetings between deputy Inspector Muhammad Ashraf and 47th Precinct community council president Cheryl McNear. Deputy Inspector Muhammad had the honor of passing along the 47th Precinct challenge coin today.

Your 47th Pct. NCO’s are working hard to address your complaints about unregistered & reckless scooters in our community. Earlier this week they participated in a multi-agency joint operation that resulted in these scooters being seized. When you speak, we listen & take action.

Due to the impending thunderstorm, we are moving our National Night Out event indoors to the Eastwood Manor at 3371 Eastchester Road. Doors open at 4:00pm.

Thieves will break into your car to remove anything of value.  Always roll up your windows, turn off the engine, remove all keys/fobs, don’t have anything valuable in open view and lock the doors whenever leaving your vehicle unattended.

We’ve heard your complaints and the loud music coming from Jerome Ave. Last night your 47th Pct. Neighborhood Coordination Officers seized these speakers and issued their owner a summons. When you speak, we listen and take action.

There’s no better way to meet members of the community and learn about a neighborhood than by taking a walk. That’s why residents of #Wakefield & #Woodlawn can expect to see your newest 47th Pct. cops patrolling our community on foot.
