Crazy ad, but he’s right. Somebody has to take out the “Bassura” and save Los Angeles. It has become a living sewer under Karen Bass.

Unveiled this beautiful monument at the gravesite of legendary KC Monarchs pitcher Hilton Smith, with his son DeMorris (center), grandson and great grand kids in attendance, at Mount Moriah Cemetery today! Hilton died in 1983 and was inducted into the @baseballhall in 2001!

@baseballinpix Those were brutal years for Royals fans. Especially 1977. Prior to that the Royals rival was the A's. The fans HATED Charlie Finley for moving the A's out of KC and then winning 3 consecutive World Series in 72, 73, 74. The Yankees replaced the A's as the most hated team.

Willie Wilson collides with Thurman Munson. The Royals and Yankees met in the ALCS four times from 1976-80, with the Royals getting their only win in 1980.

In March, a Kansas City Int. Airport worker named Teriosi Ludwig was arrested for allegedly taking photos and videos of dozens and dozens of women in the all-gender bathroom. There are more "all gender" facilities at the airport than female ones. Democrat mayor @QuintonLucasKC said the all-gender bathroom policy shouldn't change.

I HATE the free runner on 2nd base in extra innings. I don't care that it's the 10th inning, coming up on midnight and I have to go to work in the morning. Royals !

This is an actual librarian at Harvard. He calls Trump a “fascist” and a “threat,” then claims it’s Republicans using heated rhetoric after a leftist tried to assassinate Trump. Any comment @harvardmed?

@SoveyX With all the divorces today there must still be excess stock. Diamonds are forever... But marriages not so much.

Did you know the diamond engagement ring tradition was created by a diamond cartel? In the 1930s and 40s, De Beers was sitting on piles of unsold diamonds from the Great Depression. Demand was weak, inventory was high, and nothing says timeless romance like excess stock. So they hired an ad agency and launched one of the most successful campaigns in modern history: “A Diamond Is Forever.” The point was not love. It was demand creation. They turned an expensive rock into the universal symbol of commitment, something men were expected to buy if they were serious. Before that, most engagements did not involve diamonds at all. Then Hollywood amplified it. Magazines followed. Celebrities flashed rings. Carat size became status, devotion, and social proof all at once. Some companies did not just sell the stones. They helped create the expectation. Build the pressure first. Sell the solution second. That is how diamond engagement rings became tradition. Romance was real. The ring was the end of the sales funnel.

@greta You don't adopt street cat. Street cat adopts you. I have two on my porch. I keep reminding them they aren't mine but they tell me this is home. I say, "You can stay but NO KITTENS !"
