@TrollTouchline Very disappointing play pattern with the back passes continually and softness in the field of play as if nothing is at stake. They cannot take shots from outside the 18 yard box and no playmaker. No aggression as the play like softies. I am disappointed 😞

🚨🎙️| John Terry’s Post-Match Verdict on Arsenal losing to Bournemouth:
🗣️ “What I just watched from Arsenal this afternoon , I don’t think it’s football. Look, I’ve been in those dressing rooms. I’ve been in title races where every point feels like a war. What I saw today from Arsenal wasn't a team ready to be champions it was a team playing five-a-side. It’s 2026, and we are still talking about the same issues.
Mikel has done a job there, sure, but at some point, you have to stop talking about 'the project' and start showing some teeth. To lose to Bournemouth at home, when you have the chance to put the league to bed? That is a massive bottle job. There’s no other way to put it. We used to walk into the tunnel at Chelsea and look at teams and know they were scared. Right now, teams look at Arsenal and they see a soft touch.
They play this 'artistic' football, passing it around the back, but where is the leader? Where is the person demanding a clean sheet at all costs? They’re giving the fans a false sense of hope every single year, just to let them down in April. You don't win leagues with aesthetics; you win them with character. Until they find that, they’ll keep finishing second while we keep talking about what 'could' have been” I’m sorry Arsenal Fans.

@ArsenalBuzzCom Dunno why the defence line is ever so jittery under pressure. Not coordinated as they used to be and they are so soft.

@ArsenalBuzzCom There is African Proverb that goes thus;
A chicken always stands by one feet when it newly arrives in a new environment and after studying the terrain, it starts walking on both legs...That's exactly what Zubimendi is going through right now...He will eventually find rhythm🤞🏿
English

🗣️| Thierry Henry on Martin Zubimendi criticism in big games: “People like to talk a lot about everything and everyone. First it was Saka, then Ødegaard, then Gyokeres, Chelsea, Cole Palmer, the referee etc. You can always raise issues. Zubimendi just arrived in the league, and when Rodri first arrived I remember people weren’t sure about him.
“People can say whatever they want, and rightly so. Everything is so analysed by everybody, including myself, but that’s how it is at the top. If you’re not at the top or the bottom, I’m not sure people will talk about you.
“I’ve been there, so embrace being criticised, and make sure that at the end you can show something that might prove people wrong.” [Betway] #afc

🗣️| Nigel Winterburn: “There’s that pressure that Arsenal haven’t won the league in over 20 years and the players know because of the talk around the club and the history. Do I care how we win the league? Absolutely not? Would I want to see 4-5 goals every game? Of course I would but if that means we’re also losing a lot more games then no.
“In my career I played at Wimbledon? Long ball. George Graham? Strict orders and set up of a team. A bit like the current Arsenal team. I’ve also played under Arsene Wenger who was a bit more open and played with a lot more freedom so I’ve played in all of the styles and on the eye you would go Wenger style is better to watch. But as a player if you can guarantee me to win the Premier League and the Champions League then I would take that. We didn’t do that.
“We won the Premier League and the FA Cup double which for me was absolutely amazing. It’s difficult for me because I’ve won things with different styles. This season if this way gets us over the line then why would I criticise it? I want to see Arsenal as Premier League champions.
“I can’t take all the nonsense of set plays because if you divide the set play goals by the open play goals there are other teams that have scored a higher percentage of set play goals. I’m not having the criticism because what’s happened is the bandwagon has been jumped on by people that don’t support Arsenal but every Premier League game from a corner is the same.
“Don’t tell me one team does it and the other 19 don’t. Don’t tell me other teams don’t crowd around the goalkeeper and put 7-8 players in the six yard box. They all do it because they know it’s a way of causing chaos and creating chances to score goals. They don’t want to be left behind. It’s the same way a player might get touched in the box and they go over. Don’t tell me one team does it and the other 19 don’t. They all do it. If they feel contact they go over. That’s why you’ve got to push all that aside.” [@aceodds] #afc

@JamesIKaplan1 @ArsenalBuzzCom Pep Guardiola just displayed his technical superiority over Arteta in every department of the game.
English

@ArsenalBuzzCom Just not ready for this one. Treated it like a day off rather than a title game. Looked like a top tier team(City) vs a relegation-threatened club! Arsenal not in it at all.
English

@xeeny_ @ArsenalBuzzCom Truly exposed Arteta in making his team selection...How can he play Kepa over Raya, Hincapie over Calafiori in a cup final?
English

@ArsenalBuzzCom Arteta is a failure, a team that lack all your creative players in a final, you bench clafiori and madueke
English

@ArsenalBuzzCom Arsenal's players are so low in quality compared to City
English

@ArsenalBuzzCom Semenyo exposed Hincapie's defensive lapses and it raises a bug question about his character on a big stage like this Carabao Cup final.

Yeah this is football’s supreme talent. Max Dowman is his name, what he does on the pitch at 16 years old is absolutely abnormal.
This is a beyond Yamal-level, this is a Lionel Messi-level talent. This is an immortal amongst mare men

🗣️| Martin Ødegaard: “After a few away games recently, it’s great to be back home in front of our own supporters again this afternoon. I’m desperate to get back to playing as soon as I can. It’s been difficult for me with the knee injury lately, but I’m working as hard as I can to get back to full fitness now. The main thing is to be 100% again, and make sure I can properly help the team.” [@arsenal] #afc

@ArsenalBuzzCom Thanks so very much for your submission. Fans are quick to forget that experience is the best teacher as he is trying to play safe for now. He will get back to peak as it's a gradual process besides the fact that there are other very important matches ahead. Let's be patient pls.
English

🗣️| Anders Limpar: “Bukayo Saka has been one of the best players in the world for the past three or four years but then he gets a bad hamstring injury, has an operation and I know when you’re a quick player and your hamstring goes you get scared to sprint with full power and it’s not a good feeling. He’s not been good this year but he’s not been bad. Give him a break.
“It’s one thing to pull or tear your hamstring but to have an operation when you’re a quick player must play on you mentally. He’s one of the best players in the world so give him a break.
“Slowly he’s getting better and he won't play if he’s not fit. But even if you’re fit the mental fear can hold players back. He will progress in March, April and May.” [@aceodds] #afc

🗣️| Eze: “Max Dowman is very different to a lot of players, but he is someone that is confident. He believes in his ability a lot. He is a special player, but also a special person. You can see that he is maturing well and he’s a good guy. It’s fun to be around.
“To be fair, that is the same with a lot of the players coming through the academy these days. Once they come to train with the first-team, they believe in themselves. It is a positive energy to be around.” [via Metro] #afc
