IRANIAN WAR ANTHEM – ‘The end is in our control’ (Payan Ba Mast)

Hezbollah in nearly 24 hours: 1- It has shot down an Apache helicopter airborne in the Bekaa, east of Beirut. 2- It has struck an Israeli Merkava in northern Occupied Palestine with an ATGM. 3- It has launched rockets at Israel's aerospace industry companies in Tel Aviv 4- It targeted an Israeli military site on Talat al-Hamames, south of the southern Lebanese town of Khiam, using a squadron of suicide drones. 5- It is actively engaging in point-blank range confrontations with Israeli forces across the borders.

What is this eulogy performed in Iran? It refers to the martyrdom of Abbas, son of Ali ibn Abi Talib, who was the son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad (s), during the Battle of Karbala. Abbas was the 'Alamdar' (standard bearer) of his half-brother Imam al-Husayn (the Prophet's grandson). In the battle, following 10 days of siege, hunger and thirst imposed on Husayn's camp, he lost his brother and standard bearer after he attempted to reach the Euphrates river to collect water for the camp's thirsty children. The enemy brutally cut Abbas down, chopping off his arms and filling his body with arrows. So, in this video, they are chanting 'Alamdar Nayamad' ('the standard bearer did not return'). What does this mean? It means the end of the battle has begun, as all hopes have been cut off from the severity of the loss suffered. It means, even if you kill our most beloved, we will fight to the very end. This is the true essence of Islam.

War on Iran appears to be imminent. Whatever happens, and whatever tests we face, we will not lose hope and we will not despair. Now is the time for courage. In the immortal words of Imam al-Husayn (a): 'Beware that this illegitimate son of the illegitimate father has made me choose between two things: drawing the sword and humiliation... and never to humiliation!'.

We shouldn't be surprised by how much the British state lies. They have lied about Sam Corner, who supposedly shattered a police officer's spine (not true), while responding to the brutal arrest of his friend Ellie Kamio. He hasn't been convicted and must be released!

All Filton 24 Palestine actionists have been found NOT GUILTY of aggravated burglary – a serious charge that carries life imprisonment. This makes bail applications for them likely to succeed today and over the coming days. However, the CPS has confirmed that it will now be pursuing re-trials against the 6 defendants who the court recently failed to convict, on the charges for which they were not acquitted. That means charges of criminal damage against all 6, violent disorder against 3, and GBH with intent against 1 (Sam Corner). This means that only Sam is currently facing the potential of life imprisonment out of the 24. This continued harassment shows just how much our supposed 'justice' system is captured. They kept these 6 on remand in prison for 18 months, and they had to undergo a weeks-long trial. After all that, a jury couldn't convict them. But, to please Israel, the British state is going after them again.

The argument is won. We need to make it real in practice!
