@TortosaExpat You agree with me then there's a disconnect between product costs and what people are willing to pay for that product. Football is the only "business" that backs down to market and runs a loss, propped up by benefactors. The b-model needs change and that starts with the consumer.

@TortosaExpat My point is that people are prepared to spend more money on other things, but for a 2 hour experience watching a product that costs a quarter million+ every week, they object to coughing up anything more than peanuts. It's why football isn't sustainable and clubs are in debt.

@TortosaExpat You think they go to 1 concert a year? What about spending £30+ in a restaurant for an hour? A meal prepared and served by 5 staff on a fraction of a singleplayer's wage? The disconnect between "production cost" and matchday revenue in football is an issue. That's all I'm saying.
