@Mrssuziebear @SteveCavanagh_ The Audie Awards are all things audiobook. Narrators, authors, publishers are recognized, but the often not mentioned editors, proof listeners, pre and post production staff are also invaluable in making a compelling listen everything it becomes.

@AdamSims_ @SteveCavanagh_ One more question then I’ll leave you alone I promise. Is there an Oscars of the Audio books narrator world? I listen to audio books almost all day every day. There’s a couple that come close but you’re the best.

@Mrssuziebear @SteveCavanagh_ Good question. We switch as we go. I’ve read the book and made all kinds of decisions before sitting down for day one in front of the mic; accents, tone, pace. Then we record from first page to last, working with stellar producers in studio to catch mistakes and correct as we go.

@AdamSims_ @SteveCavanagh_ I would love to know how you lot do it. The changy accent thing. Do you switch accents all the time or just record a ton of Mr Christmas at once for instance?. Btw Mr Christmas sounds like The Beast in Beauty and the Beast. 🥰😂
