Here is one thing I noticed from most new investors, it’s the need to always invest all the cash in their brokerage account.
For me I always have 5-10% cash positions, sometimes in the brokerage account and other time outside it and this is exactly what has allowed me to be able to have dry powder when opportunity comes.
I encourage consistent investing, but you need to be smart about it. Say for instance, you plan to be investing 500k naira every month, you can just deploy 300-400k of it and keep 100k in your opportunity fund and some month you don’t even invest at all especially if you are an individual stocks picker, you must understand market cycle.
This is how the game is played.

I actually don’t need any text message after purchasing stocks on my brokerage account. Seeing it executed on my brokerage app alone is enough. Text messages of share I purchase are unnecessary, they must always find a way to rip us off in Nigeria. This is to @CSCSNigeria
