@deanross3 I would be happy with safety in 8th and hopefully a major rethink for next season. Definitely a lot more solid defensively but we are pretty much reliant on set pieces for goals. I don’t see much being created from open play.

It’s not pretty, but it’s working. 4 wins and 1 draw in Ketts’ 7 league games in charge. 6 clean sheets in those games too. Play-offs anyone? 👀

@Jailender Suggesting we won’t miss Hale under-estimates his worth. His form has dipped and he has been too selfish recently but is that due to frustration with the poor service to him & Jordan? He’s quick over the first 10 yards, a goalscorer and a class above any of our back up strikers.

There is no doubt he’s a decent player, but he has limitations. He is very one footed and his left foot is just for standing on He has a good work ethic, but doesn’t appear to be a team player - can be selfish in possession and has seen to be argumentative with team mates

I’ve no doubt he’ll move on this month and there is no point holding a player that wants away, but the club need to hold strong for a reasonable fee so that we can replace him. Not sure what the value is, but it’s not the £1m some fans think it should be…..

@deanross3 Couldn’t disagree with you more on Hale. The problem is he looks frustrated and is looking to do too much himself. He’s still about our only chance of scoring. I think Fraser has been ok and arguably the best of the summer signings. No disagreement with the others on your list.

@dunglassfinest Agree. Connor (and Jordan White) get a lot of very unfair criticism. Two players who always give 100% effort and you can’t say that for too many of the current squad.

Whatever your opinion on Connor Randall, to remove him as captain in favour of what we have now, was quite the act of self harm.

@Jailender Agree with every word of this. It’s a shambles, on & off the park. I’ve supported County for a long time and have never felt as disconnected to the team or club. Today is a new low. Embarrassing but not a surprise given how far the club has regressed in recent seasons.

Ross county has been a shambles for last 4.5 years! Malky mckay appointment split the fan base and as a result engagement between fans and club was lost at that point - despite McKay actually having decent team and results But first blip he had and he was kicked out the door…..

@deanross3 Agree. 11th for last 3 seasons suggests change is needed. This season been horrible to watch - no pace, width or creativity (Chilvers & Hale excepted) and too many loans. I just want to enjoy going to games again to support a team with identity that tries to play decent football.

@pieandbov Bin it. Not being sure if you can celebrate after a goal in case VAR overrules it takes the joy out of the game. Also, VAR taking 4 or 5 minutes before asking a ref to review his decision means it wasn’t a ‘clear and obvious error’.

If your club polled supporters and asked your opinion on keeping VAR (with the assumption it will improve) or binning it completely what would your vote be?

@thecountycorner I hope that isn’t the case. Scott hasn’t done much at St Mirren and other positions must be more of a priority - a RWB and cover at LCB / LWB, as well as another MF if we can move on under performing MF players.

@Jailender Almost right - “Really disappointed”. So are we. Some baffling team selections and substitutions in the last few weeks. The changes at 1-1 probably cost County that game. No clear plan to take advantage when 11v10 and looked like St M had the extra man late on. Not good enough.

We’re in big trouble! Another gutless performance from so many players in the team Even having an extra man advantage for half and hour it was St Mirren who found the space in midfield, who created better chances - but worrying it was them that had more fight! Not happy!

@Jailender Agree 100% on Dhanda. He is our best footballer but has been poor and disinterested for the last few games.it’s a young, inexperienced midfield given the injuries, so County need him to step up. He hasn’t done that.

Our midfield is killing us, and with the injured players not returning anytime soon it’s a major worry. Were too lightweight an inexperienced IMO I’ll probably get abused for this, but Dhanda only turns up once in every 10 games. Rest of midfield are young, and need guidance!

@thecountycorner I’ts been too long since I’ve enjoyed watching County so would like us to go for a manager who tries to play decent attacking football. Rhys McCabe does that with Airdrie.
