We have been on call this week during the hot weather responding to incidents within a 10 mile radius. On Thursday, Tim, one of our volunteers had a busy one, responded to six 999 calls throughout the day! ☀️ #AlcesterCFR @OFFICIALWMAS

Different scene for one of our Community First Responders as he visited one of the Emergency Operations Centres for the West Midlands Ambulance Service to learn about what happens during 999 calls & understand how ambulance resources are deployed to incidents. @OFFICIALWMAS

This morning Bill, our volunteer First Responder Coordinator supported setting up another new defibrillator in Alcester. Great to see additional lifesaving devices, which can be used by anyone, being installed! Well done and thank you to everyone involved. @OFFICIALWMAS

This defibrillator, along with all other Public Access Defibrillators are accessed during an emergency 999 call, where the ambulance call assessor will provide you with the location of your nearest defibrillator and the access code.

It’s great to see the community pull together with fundraising, donations, offers to host a defib, and of course DMH Electrical & Security Specialists for installing the cabinet free of charge! Thank you all!

After huge fundraising effort by community it’s great to be supporting new defibrillators in Alcester. Yesterday we had the pleasure of setting up a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) into the newly installed cabinet on Mayors Drive #AlcesterCFR @OFFICIALWMAS

Earlier today we joined the local community at The Graftons Village Hall, Temple Grafton to provide CPR & Defibrillator awareness. Great to see the Village Hall also has a Public Access Defibrillator available in the event of a cardiac arrest in the local area. @OFFICIALWMAS
