This is hell for your usage quota! I don't think @cursor_ai offers a setting to disable subagents. So include "Never invoke subagents" in your cursor rules if you don't want to be charged with those extra subagent usages.
Cursor@cursor_ai

Cursor now uses subagents to complete parts of a task in parallel. Subagents lead to faster overall execution and better context usage. They also let agents work on longer-running tasks. Also new: Cursor can generate images, ask clarifying questions, and more.

@cursor_ai How do we disable this? Yes, this makes it faster but now consumes more usage as main agent takes 2, then each composer 1.5 agent takes another 2 usage. Total 10 usage if you have 4 subagents running for very simple task. I would much rather disable this and wait!

Over 100k monthly downloads for nextstepjs. I don't do any marketing as it is free library, still it grows better than my SaaS projects. 😅

Another weekend, another feature. Adding onboarding flow. Users were signing up but never making a habit to track, so added an onboarding process with the option to add habits right away and a little tour of zestful. Shoutout to @AlexZDevs for NextStepJs

Why does @OpenAI crawls my website 164k times a day? I don't want to block it but it caused me to get @vercel pro.

First github sponsor for my open-source project! 🎉 🎉 🥳 🥳 Love it when people support open source, not because of income (tiny compared to saas) but makes you feel useful! It is free but people are willing to pay! Thank you @therealbrad for sponsoring nextstepjs on @github.

Don’t be a "safe" coder. It's a trap. I spent half day debugging @AWSAmplify config only to realize that process env NEXT_PUBLIC works, but process?.env?.NEXT_PUBLIC returns undefined because the Next.js compiler doesn't recognize the pattern. @vercel why you do this to me? 🤡

I had my first bot attack. Guns out now. Cloudflare and vercel bot protection did not do much. So I had to block particular FA4. Need to put rate limiting. What do you guys do to avoid this?

@fullstackmiguel I renovated my house so that at least I can be a builder when AI replaces me.

AI stresses me out i think of the future and i have no idea what it will look like i also feel like being a freelancer/contractor developer makes you highly replaceable once the AI agents get good enough like, when companies can just spin up 10 AI agents that writes full stack code, handles bugs, and ships features for $500/month, why would they pay me? i'm not scared of AI making coding easier. i'm scared of AI making ME unnecessary right now i'm competing with other developers on skill and speed. soon i'll be competing with something that doesn't sleep, never complains, and costs a fraction of what i earn maybe if i had 10+ years of experience, i would feel differently perhaps a boring job that makes you unhappy, but is hard to get fired from, is the solution.

the Portugal arbitrage no one talks about: it's not just cheaper rent it's that when everything goes to shit with your startup, at least you have the sun imagine your project failing AND it's dark and cold outside baseline happiness = underrated competitive advantage for builders sun makes me actually want to exercise, which makes me more ambitious beach clears my head when i'm stuck renting near these nice beach houses makes me want to own one, which makes me ship harder geography isn't just about cost, it's about not hating your life while you grind

Gemini 2.5 on cursor was great but had some flaws. Crashes mid task Slow response And talks too much. That is why I used Claude and Composer. How is it with Gemini 3? I am not asking how it performs, it will perform superb. Does it still have these flaws?

Why is @AWSAmplify server logs are so bad? It has great features and matches @vercel quite good, but server logs are no where near Vercel.

@posthog is amazing! I just wanted to remind that. I shipped a critical update today, did not realise there was a bug on certain edge case. Saw the bug in session replays even before customer warned us and my team mate fixed it immediately. Definitely try out session replays.
