@NintyPrime There is no win, is just BAM being BAM.. If they were acting in good faith they would have dropped the lawsuit before telling Ben to sit down and talk, instead they wrote lets talk and we drop the lawsuit, plain english accept our terms or get a lawsuit.

While this is a win, they are offering this AFTER their main supplier that helped them grow from 1 store to 400, made the decision to permanently cut ties. Their business is in serious threat if going under without their main supplier. Of course they caved. Don’t buy into they are doing the “right thing”. Their business is in trouble. That’s why they are caving. Nobody that works with them is on their side. Especially after that damning Audio of the ceo making shit up and threatening them. Also; police still need to be sued. This saga continues…

This doesn't change a thing for Bricks & MiniFigs... Sure, they can make Bryan Mansell whole and find a resolution. They only now decided to do this because the whole internet is pounding hard. HUGE NEWS 🚨 Bricks and Minifigs is parting ways with the franchise owners that were responsible for this giant $200k LEGO scandal. FEW PROBLEMS... the CEO remains, blames the "parting ways" on the social media backlash, and continues lying about their conduct through all this.

Bricks and Minifigs seems to have capitulated in the wake of devastating social media pressure from everyone on YouTube and X. They have closed the Salem store, separated from the people who took over that franchise and mistreated Bryan Mansell, and have offered to settle with Mansell over the loss of his Lego collection. BAM continues to blame the former franchisee Chrystal Gorman for most of the wrongdoing associated with this case. I think it is true that she is a bad actor, and it would be a significant distinction in court that her franchise is a legally distinct entity from BAM corporate which entered a contract to sell Mansell’s Legos on consignment in violation of BAM corporate policy, and also that she stole some of the Legos and/or some of the money Mansell should have been paid. But even if a court would find that she is the party Mansell has to seek a legal remedy against, if BAM corporate will not set right the harm done by a rogue franchisee operating under its name, then its brand and reputation are implicated, and that is what Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson — who consistently claimed that any wrong that befell Mansell had nothing to do with him even though his Legos were still in their store — did not seem to understand. I bet they understand now.

Lets say they give the money back or the legos, they are not going to do it on good faith, they are doing it to save face which will make it worse.

What's really going to blow your mind is when you realize they could have made it go away for *less* than $200k They probably could have offered $80 to 100k and Brian would have taken it just to be done with the entire thing.
