The Nimbus-tipped tail seemed to be the most criticised aspect among people who liked the design, but I still think using the silhouette of the Nimbus in flight to replace the Saiyan tail was pretty unique and creative and fit with the overall vibe of the form

just think it’s more fun to take creative liberties and try see what does and doesn’t work when translating a design that isn’t (assumed) compatible with a particular art style, while still making it undoubtedly that character

the thing about this is everybody knows artists can draw characters as how they are designed the interest is in how the characters would look IF designed by the artist with their defined art style
