@AshyB93 @StoakesJack Absolutely agree with you on that pal. As we said above, doesn’t fit us for what we want now, but at the time in the system we had him in, it suited him perfectly. Them 3 suit the system as options so much more. I feel DA would have gotten more out of him at the time, mind!

@AshyB93 @StoakesJack Nah I don’t think he was overrated at all. Defensively at the time he was a menace, a reason he was up there for all stats based around midfielders in the league. Did feel he left 6 months too early though.

🔵🟡Wendigo's 2024/25 Season with @jamiesnowden 📊Season Form: 21215 Oct 24' - Wendigo finishes second on his first start of the season over 2 miles at Hexham in a maiden hurdle. This race has worked out really well as the winner has turned out to be pretty smart too. Nov 24' - His first win over hurdles came over 2m5f at Ludlow where he wins in really good style on his first start up in trip! This was the point we saw the potential in him for the longer trips. Dec 24' - Wendigo runs down The New Lion to just over 4 lengths in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle. The winner went on to win a Grade 1 at the Cheltenham Festival and is now the current favourite for the 2026 Champion Hurdle! Feb 25' - It was off to Wetherby next for a prep run for the Cheltenham Festival and Wendigo won in a canter. Just what we wanted to see before the big day! Mar 25' - At the Cheltenham Festival, Wendigo was stepped up to 3 miles for the first time and had shaped all season as if he would relish the longer trip. He was well fancied on the day with his Challow Hurdle form having been heavily boosted by The New Lion and Wendigo ran a huge race for us to finish 5th! Coming round the home turn he was fully in contention before getting heavily impeded, but he stayed on well again after the interference to confirm his class.. we were very unlucky not to finish closer, but we couldn't have been more proud of Wendigo.
