The winner of the 2020 BAFTA Student Film Award for Live Action is "Mum's Hairpins" directed by Tatiana Fedorovskaya from Higher Courses for Screenwriters and Directors in Russia. 🇷🇺 Congratulations to Tatiana and her team!

The winner of this year's Special Jury Prize - selected by Waad Al-Kateab, Isabel Coixet, Reinaldo Marcus Green, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Clarke Peters - is documentary "Making Waves", directed by Laura Zéphirin from New York University. Congrats to Laura and her team! 🇫🇷🇺🇸

Yesterday we announced the recipients of the BAFTA-GSA Short Film Grant. Our Jury selected @mishalmahmud's project "Witness" and Julio Ramos & Sona Mkrtumian's "Premature" and they presented the grant to the recipients via Zoom. Both projects will receive $6,000. #baftatalent
