โ€ผ๏ธAnother long term business is closing in Portland Oregon. This is what Hookset Automotive wrote about itโ€ฆ THE GATES ARE CLOSED. THE DEAL IS DEAD. Twenty years of loyalty. Twenty years of sacrifice. In 2002, we fell in love with Portlandโ€™s heart. We built Hookset Automotive with grease, sweat, and a belief in this community. I traded my dream of being an architect for an oil rag to build an honest business with my husband, JC. We did everything right. Portland did everything wrong. I didnโ€™t just run a shop; I served. I led the Parkrose Business Association. I hosted town halls. I stood before the City Council and begged for the law to be enforced. I was trying to save Portland from becoming the next Detroit. I fought for this district until there was nothing left to give. In return, the city turned on us. โ€ขFinancial Extortion: The city didn't just lie; they taxed the shit out of us while doing so. They drained our resources with skyrocketing taxes while providing zero protection in return. โ€ขBetrayal: Mingus Mapps, who once ran Historic Parkrose, used our neighborhood as a political stepping stone to the City Council. He ignored our pleas while drawing a salary meant to protect our streets. โ€ขSlander: When I spoke up about the crime and the "Slough Town" gunfire, neighborhood groups responded with a smear campaignโ€”spreading vile lies about my marriage to silence a woman asking hard questions. โ€ขSabotage: Last week, our landlord illegally chained the gates shut while we were inside. We were held against our will. When we called 911, the policeโ€”the same officers I defended for two decadesโ€”looked at us through the fence and called it a "civil issue." They went out of their way to make sure we didn't get help, even contacting the fire department to tell them not to interfere. Your promise of protection was a lie. We gave this city our lives, and it gave us a lock and a cold shoulder. We are closing our doors because the basic rules of a civilized society don't apply here anymore. The deal we made with this cityโ€”that if you work hard, pay your taxes, and follow the law, youโ€™ll be protectedโ€”was a total lie. To our loyal customers: You were our family. We are devastated it ended this way, but we couldnโ€™t have tried harder. We poured every ounce of our souls into this place, only to be abandoned by the city we tried to save. Portland, you didnโ€™t just fail usโ€”you threw us away. Keep your "weird." Weโ€™re taking our integrity somewhere that actually values it. The gates are closed for good. Trump orders two transport planes blown up so Iranians donโ€™t steal and reverse-engineer our technology after a wildly successful rescue mission of two American pilots deep inside Iranian territory. Biden leaves behind $85 billion in military equipment to the Taliban and over 100 military K9s abandoned at Kabul airport during a disastrous withdrawal that killed 13 service members. Take a guess which one Democrats are calling a success.

FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow War Fighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

Corey Brewer is a NBA Champion. Joakim Noah won NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Al Horford captained a NBA Champion. But the way those 3 guys talk about the 07 team and why the decision to come back was worth it & gets better every passing year is why they are unicorns.

New York: 133K NGOs handle $450 billion per year. California: 225K NGOs handle $610 billion per year. Over $1 trillion per year is moved within the NY and CA NGO ecosystem. The fraud is staggering. America is not in $39 trillion in debt. America is in $39 trillion in fraud.

Letโ€™s start with good ole J.B. Pritzker. He likes to see himself in the spotlight, so letโ€™s up the wattage on that and take a look at whatโ€™s there. Pritzker is a $๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ— ๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง Hyatt hotel heir who wants you to believe he turned Illinois around. Before he launches his next political vanity project, every American deserves to see what he actually did to the fifth-largest state in the union. ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐“๐จ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ ๐“๐š๐ฑ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐ž Before he was governor, Pritzker bought a $๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ• ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง next door to his Gold Coast home in Chicago. Total savings from the scheme: $๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ in property tax refunds and reductions (Fox 32 Chicago). He repaid it. Federal investigators later opened a criminal probe into the tax appeals (Illinois Policy Institute). No charges were filed โ€” but the man who would go on to lecture Illinoisans about paying their โ€œfair shareโ€ literally removed toilets from a mansion to dodge his own property taxes. ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐„๐ฑ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ Since 2000, Illinois has lost a net ๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ” ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ to domestic outmigration (IRS). Its pension systems are funded at just ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ.๐Ÿ–% โ€” the lowest funding ratio in America. Unfunded liabilities as a share of GDP stand at ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ% โ€” by far the worst figure in the nation (Americans for Prosperity). And Pritzkerโ€™s pension โ€œreformโ€? Heโ€™s sticking to a plan that wonโ€™t fully fund the systems until ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ“ (Capitol News Illinois). Thatโ€™s not a fix. By the end of 2025, Illinois will have spent over $๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ“ ๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง on their care โ€” roughly $๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ—,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ญ (Illinois Policy Institute, Fox 32 Chicago). Before a single ballot is cast, every American deserves to see what he did to the largest state in the union. I did a little research and coalesced everything into this post from public resources. ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐„๐ฑ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ: ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ net population loss in 2024โ€“25 alone (U.S. Census Bureau). Over ๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ’ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง residents fled since 2020 (CA Dept. of Finance). The largest outbound migration of any state in America. People aren't leaving paradise โ€” they're escaping a dumpster fire with a coastline. ๐“๐ก๐ž $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ: California spent $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐ˆ๐Ž๐ on homelessness over five years. That's roughly $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง. The result? Homelessness ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ by 30,000 people โ€” from 151,000 to over 181,000. That's a ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘% ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž since 2013 (HUD). It gets worse. The California State Auditor found the agency responsible for tracking outcomes โ€” the Interagency Council on Homelessness โ€” ๐ก๐š๐๐ง'๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ง๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐š๐ญ๐š ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ. No consistent method to collect outcome data. Didn't verify accuracy of data from municipalities. The state database was riddled with deleted records and test entries. And in San Jose and San Diego, over ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ“% of homeless placements were into temporary housing โ€” not permanent. ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ% of those people ended up back on the street. A $24 billion revolving door. ๐Ž๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐š๐ฑ๐ฉ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ ๐–๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐: $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐ˆ๐Ž๐ for a high-speed rail that was originally budgeted at $33B and has moved ๐ณ๐ž๐ซ๐จ ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ (CA HSR Authority). A $๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ‘ ๐๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐ˆ๐Ž๐ budget deficit in 2024โ€“25 (LAO). That's not governance. Over ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ž๐ฌ fled California between 2018 and 2024 (Hoover Institution). These aren't strip malls. So what happens when you squeeze the golden goose? It leaves. In 2022, Newsom saw a one-time post-COVID revenue spike โ€” fueled by federal relief money, not real growth โ€” and declared a ๐›๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ "$๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ•.๐Ÿ“ ๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ" that never appeared in any actual budget document (CalMatters). He went on a spending spree. Two years later, the state quietly admitted to a $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ“ ๐๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐ˆ๐Ž๐ revenue forecasting error over four years (LAO). Personal income tax collections crashed ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“% in a single year. The "Big Three" revenue sources dropped ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ% (LAO). And it's getting worse. An estimated $๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง in billionaire wealth has left the state. Six billionaires alone โ€” including @elonmusk and Larry Ellison โ€” took roughly ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ% of California's aggregate billionaire wealth with them. Every dollar of capital gains they generate for the rest of their lives will now be taxed at 0% in Texas instead of 13.3% in Sacramento. Sacramento's response? Propose a new wealth tax โ€” which is accelerating the exodus even faster. The LAO projects deficits of $๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ ๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง/๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ for the remainder of Newsom's term. They are taxing themselves into bankruptcy. ๐‚๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ : Electricity costs ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ•% ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฏ๐ž the national average (EIA). Gas at $๐Ÿ’.๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ“/๐ ๐š๐ฅ vs. $3.20 nationally (AAA). Californians pay more for the privilege of watching their state crumble. ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž & ๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž: Prop 47 reclassified theft under $950 as a misdemeanor โ€” retail theft surged so badly that Walgreens and Whole Foods shuttered locations in San Francisco. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ+ homeless residents โ€” the largest unsheltered population in the United States (HUD). This is Gavin Newsom's California. The population is fleeing. The businesses are gone. The billionaires took a trillion dollars with them. The budget is a crater built on a $165 billion fantasy. They spent $132,000 per homeless person and ended up with 30,000 ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž of them. The trains don't exist. The lights barely stay on. And the shoplifters have more legal protection than the store owners. This isn't a resume. It's a rap sheet. And this is what Gavin Newsom is running on. This is all he has to offer. He can't point to a single crisis he inherited โ€” he ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ them. Population loss, revenue collapse, a homeless crisis that got worse the more money he threw at it, a business exodus with no end in sight, and a budget held together with accounting gimmicks and borrowed time. The question every voter should ask: is this the model you want copied to all 50 states? Because that's the only thing he's selling. And no, the other 49 states don't want him either.
