Congratulations to the newly minted Dr. Gregory Kudzin!! 🎓 Greg presented his thesis defense yesterday, giving an overview of the tremendous non-target PFAS work he has completed during his time at UNC, including his software entitled "PIMMS." We are so proud of you Greg!!

Congratulations to Sadie Disselkoen, who is officially a PhD Candidate!!!! 🎉 Sadie's prelim presentation focused on her work characterizing bile acids associated with fatty liver disease and expanding our existing in-house LC-IMS-MS bile acid library. Congrats Sadie!!

🐬 New paper out from our lab! We present an optimized method for extracting PFAS from small volumes of milk. Then, we apply that method to look at longitudinal trends of maternal PFAS transfer in dolphins to highlight early-life exposure pathways. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
