So if Ivermectin works for Cancer, but it's not in the Big Pharma written NCCN or NCCI guidelines, it doesn't get offered to Cancer patients. It doesn't matter how well Ivermectin works in Cancer. When dealing with doctors like Jonathan Laxton, you will find their arguments about Ivermectin are easily dismantled.

History buffs are going to love tonight’s segment. Let’s go back to 1660’s New Amsterdam to learn about a Jewish woman who helped settle New York- especially fascinating to me because my ancestors were early settlers in Staten Island. Miriam Levy arrived in New Amsterdam (pre-New York) in the early 1660s as the wife of Asser Levy, one of the most prominent early Jewish settlers. Asser had gone back to Amsterdam around 1660 specifically to find a Jewish wife — pickings were slim in the tiny Dutch colony — and married Miriam (likely née Israel) there before bringing her back. They were one of the only Jewish couples who stayed put when the English took over in 1664; most of the other early Jews (the famous 23 refugees from Brazil plus a handful from Amsterdam) eventually left. Miriam and Asser lived in a classic Dutch gabled house on the block between Hoogh Straet and Slyck Straet (today’s Stone Street/Pearl Street area in lower Manhattan). From the detailed 1682 inventory of Asser’s estate (he died February 1682), we get a surprisingly vivid picture of their home life: - Nine paintings on the walls (probably biblical scenes, a common touch in Dutch Jewish homes). - A huge collection of dishes — enough for separate milk and meat sets, showing they kept a kosher household. - Miriam’s own wardrobe included a red petticoat, stockings, shoes, bodice, lace cap, and jewelry. Asser was the community’s kosher butcher (shochet) and a merchant who fought hard for Jewish rights (burgher rights, the right to trade, etc.). Miriam outlived him, administered his estate, and died in New York in 1688 — one of the very few Jews we know died in 17th-century New York. They apparently had no surviving children. She later remarried (to a relative of Asser’s), but her time with him is what’s best documented. She’s the quiet, steady presence behind one of the most determined early Jewish families in North America — living openly as Jews in a place that wasn’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat. While her husband Asser gets most of the spotlight for fighting Stuyvesant, Miriam was the one keeping the kosher home and the household running in those Dutch gabled streets…. And proof is in the historical record too - down to her petticoat and the two sets of dishes required for a Kosher home.
