@Myamberleon Ofc. One of the most fascinating ponder topics out there I think ☺️
English

@BeeSenderIM I like to ponder the nuisances of why people do what they do or why they choose not to.

@Myamberleon Again, I took the vaccine. I'm playing devil's advocate because I think it's a fascinating conversation that touches on human nature (including the dark parts), incentives, vanity, etc
English

@Myamberleon That's valid and I think that for those reasons, most people did end up getting vaccines (I think like 80ish percent).
That said, I can appreciate the distinction between following societal norms like not texting while driving, paying taxes, etc vs "inject this new medication"
English

@Myamberleon I think even if the standard is "I don't put anything I don't understand in my body", people will compromise that standard for vanity reasons and "dig in" when being told what to do.
English

@Myamberleon For sure. I think "we don't know what's in it" might've been a proxy for "don't tell me what to do". I might be giving them a bit too much credit tho...
English

@Myamberleon People just fundamentally don't love being told what to do (especially by the gov)
English

@Myamberleon I hear you but in fairness, I think the distinction is "forced" vs "elective" (I personally had vaccines and am not on peptides or ozempic 😅)
English

@Myamberleon This is the type of tweet that will get me to send you an email 😭😂

@claire_ryder_ That's one of those things that I learned the hard way 😭 We book the cheaper flight to save 40 bucks but then would pay so much more to have the flexibility to not be stuck in this sort of situation...
English

@BeeSenderIM Nooooo my airline only flies out of IAH. This is the last time I book nonrefundable
