@Petirep I haven't been following Dr Who since David Tennant. What's going on?

@mage_you Not a single tactical thought in his mind. Just rush a whole battleline solo and get killed in exchange for one tank. No disservice to that Enginseer, but that had to be the dumbest Marine in the warband.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop He got shot by a tank after he got stunned by losing a arm to a deceptively durable admech.
It's still pretty metal that one astarte with a knife and a pistol caused tanks to give a retreat order.

Third and final episode of Steel Coffins. This one pays homage to the Tallarn Desert Raiders, as well as showing an enginseer absolutely fucking up a Chaos Space Marine's shit.

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit To you, Palestinians are caged wild animals.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit You are getting mad at the caged lion for killing its handler after decades of torture and abuse. I don’t think the lion should kill its occupier but it’s not an unexpected outcome. Palestinians tried the peaceful option and Israel shot them in the knees while they marched

Still feels so weird when I see this clip pop up
Leigha Sapienti@Leigha_Sapienti
Politics streamer Destiny counters Twitch Streamer Hasan Piker's decades of research on Israel-Palestine. Destiny points out that 9 months ago, Hasan didn't know what the Wailing Wall is and the meaning behind it. Destiny also points out that Hasan couldn't even find Turkey on a map and mixed it up with India. Outside the clip: Destiny doubles down on calling Hasan unserious, which sparked the initial conversation on x, which caused the Hasan Piker rant.

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit You're also aware that the Great March of Return began independently from Hamas before they coopted it and actively began antagonizing the Israeli border guards by seeding instigators into the crowd to sling rocks?
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit Palestinians are powerless and Israel is in full control. You see how that framing is actively portraying the actions of Hamas as though they have no autonomy? No choice in what they do? No moral obligations?
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit Again, for the third time, I don't condemn Palestinians for retaliating against Israel. I've clarified this enough times that it must be purposeful. You are defending the morality of what they did on Oct 7th because you could otherwise simply agree that they shouldn't kill civs.
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit You just did it, and I don't think you even noticed. You're framing the conflict as though the fault is squarely on Israel and Palestinians are absolved of blame. You immediately deflected straight back to Israel.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit When did I say it was morally justified lol, I am providing the analysis that Israel has been the most violent party in this conflict but you keep making excuses for them. Hamas would not exist if Israel was not occupying and killing Palestinians
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit You already understand that it's immoral, even under the loose morality of warfare, to target civilians. Otherwise, you wouldn't be condemning the IDF for it. Why do you feel its moraly justified for Hamas?
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit How many civilians has Israel killed before October 7th in Gaza? Israel does not care whether the target is military or civilian, they have made it clear all Palestinians are “valid military targets.”
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit How are you simultaneously so naive with an extremely negative opinion of Israel that you'd expect them to find an excuse to demolish Gaza? You can't invoke hindsight is 20/20 when you claim they're also behaving exactly as you'd expect them to!
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit Hindsight is 20/20 Israel would have found and excuse eventually.
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit I don't disagree that if you kick someone enough, they're going to kick back. As I said earlier, Hamas would've been totally justified in attacking military and government targets. They chose to murder and kidnap civilians.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit Exactly Israel constant violence in Gaza and the West Bank made October 7th inevitable, glad we agree
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit I assume you heard the news as it was breaking. What did you think Israel's response would be? My assumption was they'd go to war with Hamas in Gaza and maybe even invade the West Bank.
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit Yes. Because the deployment of violence makes conflict more intractable. See my point.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit The current Israeli government as well as the parties that would replace Bibi are not running on anything but continuing the violence. Not a single voice in the government is currently against violence they are 100% for more violence, they think Bibi isn’t being violent enough
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit I'd agree but that demonstrates that Oct 7 was counterproductive to the cause because it gave Bibi the support he needed to go into Gaza and demolish the place.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit I would say Israel is far less capable than ever before. They only know one speed and that is genocide, did you forget that the Likud party rose to power after a member assassinated the prime minister Yitzhak Rabin for the crime of agreeing to peace with Palestinians.
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit Violence should also be avoided because violence makes conflicts more intractable. The threat of it may force parties to the table but deployment only makes the situation harder to de-escalate.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit Nelson Mandela support Palestinians and said that if the apartheid had not ended when it did they would have escalated the violence. Israel has led a campaign of rape against Palastinains, then a court of law in Israel said the rape was legal and let the IDF soldiers go
English

@cokezeroperson @conduitbiscuit Both parties need to demonstrate they can respect the rights of the other through reform. Israel is simply more politically capable of doing so, both because they're ascendant and their government won't murder opposition leaders. Terrorism makes this more difficult for PSE.
English

@BeepBopRoboCop @conduitbiscuit Everything you say about Hamas can be said about Israeli but 100x worse, the problem is you refuse to see that becuse Israel’s dick is too far down your throat and you also don’t view Palastinians as real people and they are all terrorists.
