The last thing we need is another commission to propose cuts to Social Security & Medicare. The last time we had one, it proposed cutting Social Security benefits for middle class seniors by up to 35% & cutting tax rates for billionaires. We must instead expand Social Security.

How does it happen that SoFI, a student loan re-financing company, could spend $625 million to put its name on the LA Rams football stadium when 45 million Americans are drowning in $1.8 trillion in student debt? Today would be a good day for the President to cancel student debt.

Unfettered capitalism is CEO compensation skyrocketing by 940% since 1978 while the typical worker's pay has inched up by just 12%. This is not what America is supposed to be about. We must put an end to rampant inequality and finally create an economy which works for all of us.
