We have immature passion vine plants growing in our yard where gulf fritillaries lay eggs. When I mow lawn, if caterpillars are on those plants I move caterpillars2enclosure w/potted passion vine plant2feed on, spin cocoons&emerge as butterflies. This one emerged this morning!
