Boundary layer measurements over porous and rough surfaces by @prateek_aero and Dea Wangsawijaya in our new wind tunnel. This is a challenging problem on decoupling the effects of permeability and roughness on wall-turbulence. Hopefully, we can make some progress...

@Bharath_Lab Agree with comments on iPhone being a good choice. Without a phone, RPi v2 cameras are around 8MP and can do ~100Hz. They also have a newer £50 version that can take lenses (Nikon, etc.) thepihut.com/products/raspb… Although you’d have to check the spec and frame rate is suitable.

We are looking for cheap 4-5MP resolution cameras that operate at 100-200ish Hz for PIV use with LED light source. Any suggestions from fluids folks out there??
