I'm done here, Tekken ppl barely plays other fighting games. Tekken players would rather play Call of duty or fortnite than exploring new fighting games outside their comfort.

Tekken is (traditionally) the only mainstream fighting game that doesn't play into an arbitrary triangle system, and much more closely resembles real world combat strategy. Like, actual strategy that's been studied for millennia, not the vibes-based video game kind

I completely understand not wanting to to play VF over Tekken.
It's just funny referring to Tekken's gameplay as "Real World Combat Strategy" when VF's entire design philosophy is literally that😂

I didn't even told you that Tekken players should play MK, I only said SF players can play a non SF-like game like MK when their game is shit.

But it’s funny bc I could ask you the same question about SF and MK and you wouldn’t find many. Also besides sajam with sf6 the streamers you mentioned caters to the fgc as a whole.

He keeps coming back to Tekken, because the base design of Tekken is what speaks to him. You gotta generally trust that seasoned players know what they are looking for.

But they are not the games we are talking about. We want another game that feels similar to how tekken is played. Thats it.

@kitsuneredFES At least they have more to play and fall back on if their game is in shambles. MVC gets re-released, street fighters get in collections. Tekken is forever in purgatory, my son would be in HELL, I wouldn't want that for 'em.

@Zen_Nobody101 @kitsuneredFES That's true, but a lot of SF players gone to playing button block game like MKX and a 3D game like T7 when SFV is in shambles at it's release. Tekken community only had the mentality that they can't like anything that isn't Tekken.

@kitsuneredFES BrianF is the most capcon fan you can have as a streamer, but that guys spends time playing Tekken, 2XKO and Avatar legends. Tekken streamers have to be sponsored or be collabed with Sajam for them to touch a new game that isn't Tekken.

When every fighting game out there is a slog to learn, I guess that's the main key of Tekken, it's much more fun to start here, you can just mash buttons and have a fun expirience as a beginner,that's what every Tekken players are trying to find
