The umpires that quit because of the use of ABS are the umpires we don’t want in the game anyway. Finally there is a system to hold them accountable, and if they were smart, they would utilize it to improve their craft. Baseball is built on failure.

I’m starting to feel bad for home plate umpires. We are watching a career evaporate in front of our eyes from ABS.

@MDL1981 Dominguez in CF, Bellinger in LF would have been the plan if Grisham turned down the offer.

And to think many yankees fans really wanted grisham gone so bellinger could go to his lesser position of CF and the LF job could just be handed to jasson....idk maybe the yankees sort of know what they are doing?

@hotseatsports_ Not entirely on Brunson. But KAT was on a run and Brown's move was to take him out. He only put him back in when Bridges fouled out. Just frustrating. They had a chance even with the big free throw discrepancy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sometimes Brunson is not the answer: #Knicks go on 10-0 run with Brunson on the bench. Brunson comes in defense falls apart OKC ends game on 19-9 run.

@tylermilliken_ Here's an idea, dont challenge borderline pitches early in the game. Navarez challenged a pitch that was <0.1 inches outside the zone, same thing with Roman Anthony 0.1 inch strike. Reds challenge pitches well outside the zone.

The pain of having no ABS challenges left. Especially with CB Bucknor behind the plate.

@ChrisKirschner I mean, technically they were the first to have Garlic Fries, so I would suspect the original is better. Gilroy CA is the Garlic Capital of the World

@KFCBarstool The zone is measured at the middle of the plate, which means these pitches nicking the bottom of the zone are actually more in the zone at the front of the plate.

That pitch the other day that was like right over the whole ass plate? Great ABS. This? Succccccks. I know this can’t be the rule but it should almost be the ball has to be in the zone a certain amount. One millimeter touching the zone are toss up calls that should stay that way

Unreal how many people are calling WFAN to complain about the traffic getting to/home from the game today. Are these casual Mets fans? Even in years without construction, traffic is horrendous. With what is going on now, what did you really expect? The team tried to warn you.
