Important Trash Pickup Update: Ft. McIntosh to Hwy 110 Ryland Environmental is working to complete all routes impacted by fire-related delays. Due to more trash than trucks could handle today, some areas were unable to be serviced. Crews will return tomorrow morning to finish remaining pickups. Tuesday routes will be completed early tomorrow, and Wednesday routes will run as normal. Residents in the affected area are asked to leave their trash out for collection. We appreciate your patience as service is restored.

Due to dry conditions and increased wildfire risk, the Brantley County Board of Commissioners has temporarily restricted the outdoor burning of yard debris effective February 12, 2026. Burning of leaves, limbs, grass, and other vegetative debris is prohibited until further notice. Exceptions include attended cooking fires in grills or fire pits, permitted agricultural or forestry burns in accordance with Georgia Forestry Commission guidelines, and authorized government controlled burns. This restriction remains in effect until conditions improve. For questions, contact the Board of Commissioners at 912-462-5256.
