This is awesome. Instead of the storyline of this game being how shitty the umpire is, the issue gets corrected in real time and we move on. That’s what ABS is designed to do. And it took 10-15 seconds each time. That, and the umpire starts to realize he’s calling the bottom of the zone incorrectly and can make adjustments. We don’t have to deal with pitchers attacking that spot all game for easy strikes on pitches that hitters can’t do much with. I think ABS has been an extremely positive change this far.

A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice.

If you coach early youth baseball, and you tell kids: DON'T hit the ball in the air because they're automatic outs DON'T try to hit homeruns. DO hit balls on the ground to 3B because you'll get to 1B more often. You are legit crushing the sport. Getting kids to "want to come back tomorrow" is YOUR ONLY ROLE. My 7 year old doesn't want to go back tomorrow. I don't blame him. You failed.

Treason. That is the word Trump used tonight for news organizations reporting confirmed Iranian strikes on U.S. aircraft. The same post confirms the strikes happened while disputing the severity. The founders defined treason in Article III with deliberate precision because they had watched the word used as a weapon against political opponents. “Levying war against the United States or adhering to its enemies.” Not: reporting damage to military aircraft that U.S. officials confirmed to reporters. The FCC is already reviewing broadcaster licenses. The president is now calling for treason charges. The Iranian disinformation campaign is real. So is this one. The republic needs to be able to say both things out loud at the same time, which is exactly what the first sentence of the First Amendment was written to protect.
