UPDATE: Mr. Stokes has been safely located and is back with family!

BPD is actively looking for Roy Stokes, WM, H 6'01 W 145 , 82 YOA. Roy was last seen in the 2500 block of E Villa Maria Rd. driving a 2023 white Honda Pilot Texas Handicap Plate #7WYRN. Mr. Stokes suffers from Alzheimer's and has history of other medical issues. Call 911 if seen

BPD is asking the community for help in identifying the male in the below pictures. This male was seen breaking into cars in the 3700 block of Windridge Drive on 02/05/2026 around 0445 AM. Please contact Bryan PD detectives at 979-209-5375 with information regarding this male.

UPDATE: Mrs. Salinas was safely located in College Station and receiving medical attention. BPD wants to thank everyone in the community for getting Mrs. Salinas located quickly.

BPD is actively looking for 83 year old Marie Salinas. Mrs. Salinas left from the 600 block of S. Haswell driving a 4 dr Sil. 2007 Saturn Aura with TX LP WCX4846. Mrs. Salinas is reported to suffer from dementia. Last seen wearing pink shirt, red pants. Please call 911 if seen.

Crash is cleared and northbound lanes are now open

BPD is currently on scene of a fatality traffic crash in the 1900 block of N Earl Rudder FWY., HWY 6. Both northbound and southbound lanes of HWY 6 are closed. Traffic will need to exit Tabor Rd. in both directions. Emergency crews will be on scene for an extended period of time.

Southbound lanes are open. Both northbound lanes are still closed.

Update: No major road closures at this time. Ice on the roads are being reported and addressed as they come in. BPD wants to encourage people to remain home if possible and off the roads. Stay warm!

Crossings are open

Train Engine has caught fire causing multiple railroad crossings to be blocked. Crossings from N Sims Ave near the co-op through Downtown Bryan to Groesbeck and S Main St are blocked. Current open railroad crossing in that area is Dodge St. BFD is on scene working.

Arrest Made from July 16th, 2025 Car Wash stabbing On January 12th, 2026, Ronnie Williams of College Station, Texas was served one warrant of arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Williams is currently in custody at the Brazos County Detention Center.

BPD is currently working an investigation located in the 600 block of North Earl Rudder FWY. One person has been transported to the hospital with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no threat to the public. Investigation is active and ongoing at this time.

Intersection lights of Hwy 21 and N Texas Ave are currently on 4 way flashing red. Please be cautious of this if traveling in the area. Crews are enroute to assess the situation.

BPD responded to the Time Mart on Finfeather Road for a report of a gunshot victim. Later determined victim did not have a gunshot wound and sustained injury from a physical altercation. One suspect arrested nearby related to the incident. There is no threat to the public.

BPD is actively working a shooting investigation in the 2600 block of Finfeather Road. We ask you please avoid the area at this time.

Kevin Scott II was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

BPD is currently investigating a shooting in the 2800 block of Nash St. One victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Currently BPD has a person of interest detained on scene. No threat to the public at this time. Investigation is active and ongoing.

All southbound HWY 6 lanes are open. Briarcrest Dr. is clear on both east and west side.

BPD is currently on scene of 4 different major crashes in the area of Briarcrest Dr., southbound HWY 6 between WJB and Briarcrest Dr. Please avoid the area as BPD and emergency crews work. Southbound 6 is being diverted to the WJB feeder Road exit.
