@EXEcutionare @Pirat_Nation I specifically waited for it on PC. I think the only other Sony PC game I have is Horizon Zero Dawn, as those are the only ones I really wanted to play.

@Pirat_Nation There's so much irony to this. Stellar Blade sold over 2 million copies on PC, yet not one of these crossed 1m. That should tell you something.

Several big PlayStation games did not sell 1 million copies on PC, a new report shows low sales for some popular titles when they came to PC. >Ghost of Tsushima sold about 710,000
>God of War Ragnarok sold 300,000
 >Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sold 260,000
>Horizon Forbidden West sold 230,000 copies. These games sold many more copies on PlayStation consoles. Back in February, people with inside information said Sony was planning to stop putting its single-player PlayStation games on PC. Those games would stay only on PlayStation hardware. Live-service and multiplayer games would still come to PC, but single-player titles like Saros and Marvel’s Wolverine would not. This change reportedly led to the PC version of Ghost of Yotei being cancelled. Poor PC sales seem to be one of the main reasons for the shift.

@michaelmiraflor I used to work with a “Disney adult” and it was wild to witness. The positive? If you drew their name in Secret Santa, it was an easy gift.

Among my hottest takes are: - Disney adults (esp with no kids) are ruining it for families by inflating the cost of everything. - Disney adults should seek therapy to deal with childhood issues, not more trips to Disneyland. - Disney should not cater to Disney adults. It’s for families. It’s for the kids.
The New Yorker@NewYorker

For the most devoted fans, Disney has engineered an ecosystem of financial entanglement that goes far deeper than park tickets or merchandise, which keeps the magic—and the debt—perpetually compounding. In 2023, Ashley, a freshman at Quinnipiac University, in Connecticut, had $15,000 in her bank account. Excited by her newfound freedom as a college student, she decided to start going on solo trips. Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Florida, seemed like an obvious choice. She went during her winter break. Then she returned, six times, in two years. Soon enough, her account balance had dwindled to just five dollars. Perhaps unsurprisingly, many adults who have accumulated Disney debt seem to be chasing a feeling from their childhoods. One woman, who has been to Disney World more than a hundred times, said that visiting the parks takes her back to a time when she had fewer worries: “It’s the nostalgic feeling of what brought you joy when you were little and you didn’t have the stressors of adult life.” Read more about the Disney adults putting themselves in debt for the pursuit of magic: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/_JqtFg

XANADU is worse than anything I possibly could have imagined. The dialogue is horrendous. The acting is bizarre. Gene Kelley is in it and he’s acting like he acted in 40s movies. The rhythm of the writing and acting is the same as the MST3K classic MITCHELL. The timing of the speech is rushed and odd. I’d say at least the music is good but aside from “Magic” it’s horrible. Olivia Newton John is pretty. That’s all.
