Not just enhancing, but filling in gaps. I remember reading a really interesting story about engineers in Italy using 3D printers to retrofit ski masks into respirators. Local hospital was out – problem solved overnight. Brilliant idea. tinyurl.com/yx9ghjpe

That said, the benefits of AI in the workplace can be huge, both for companies AND workers. AI + 5G are already being used in mines to automate dangerous transport & inspection tasks. No matter the precautions, for some risky jobs there's no need to put people's safety at risk.

Automation is undeniably a big challenge, and it's something we need to address – both as an industry and as a society. I'm a big fan of practical training programs. Industries working together with unis, community colleges, local govts, helping people expand their opportunities.
