Not good enough @RunCzech. I've known since November last year that I couldn't run in the half marathon on April 5 and you finally release instructions on how to transfer bibs 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE RACE. @5uperHalfs - this is not on when there are many runners desperate for places.

3 or 4 times a week I rush my evening meal to taxi my child to a cold 3G pitch or a muddy and wet match day. I stand around in the cold, the wet, the wind, sometimes even the snow, rarely the sun. Then my child either gets a tonne of those black balls from the 3G pitch all over my car and my house or lots, and I mean lots of mud in the car and house. My washing cycle is permanently on to make sure my child has the right kit for training, match and it's pristine every time. This is our family ritual, we do it every week of every month, all year round. You might think I'm complaining, far from it, I will do this until I'm no longer wanted or needed or my child stops playing because deep down I love nothing more than watching my child's dedication and love for the sport. It brings me great pride and great joy to know they're having fun and loving playing. I will do it, and I will brave every element nature has to throw at me because I dread the day when it ends. @MartinSLewis Hubby wanted to buy an electric bike on the cycle to work scheme that I'm not convinced he'll use. Asked him what we will be giving up/not pay for to cover it. Settled on him buying less alcohol to the tune of the difference. Might encourage him to use the bike more, too!
